Sara Horvath
Sara joined CVEA in August 2022 as the Executive Assistant. She brings a consistently pleasant and positive attitude to everything she does. Sara plays a vital role in keeping things running smoothly and is always willing to lend a hand. Her sense of humor adds a lighthearted touch to even the busiest days, and her upbeat energy helps create a welcoming, supportive workplace for everyone. We are grateful for the professionalism, positivity, and laughter she brings to our team each day.
From Sara:
I was raised in Glennallen and graduated with my BA from UAA in 2014. When I'm not at work, I enjoy traveling, tackling creative arts and crafts projects, and spending time with my husband, Alieu, our dog Sadie, and family. You'll usually find me either out exploring new places or deep into a true crime documentary - purely for the problem-solving, of course (no spoilers, please!). At work, I thrive in the fast-paced environment and truly value being part of a collaborative team with a great culture where people work well together.
Quote from Sara's supervisor, CEO Jaime Matthews:
"It is an honor to work with Sara as she provides amazing support for our entire team and board. She consistently shows a genuine care for the people around her and works hard to go above and beyond for CVEA."
