T-Line Tightening of 124 Structures

Preventative Maintenance

The CVEA Line Crews have been performing preventative maintenance on transmission lines from Milepost 64 to Milepost 114 on the Richardson Highway.

Our crews have been tightening down guy wires and have inspected 124 structures. The team will inspect an additional 134 structures in the future between Milepost 64 to Milepost 114 on the Richardson Highway.

Based on the inspections, the Line Crews have begun pile driving transmission line structures that have been identified as needing additional maintenance.

Preventative maintenance helps us meet one of our cooperative’s strategic priorities of maintaining and improving system reliability.
