Be aware of the dangers associated with piling snow on, under, or near CVEA equipment, facilities, and power lines.
Snow is piling high and CVEA wants you to stay safe. The rule is to stay 10 feet away from electric lines when pushing and piling snow. CVEA also has equipment located directly on the ground and identified with snow markers. If you are unsure of where electric equipment is located, call your local CVEA office at 822-3211 or 835-4301. After hours, call 866- 835-2832. If you are involved in snow removal, whether commercial or residential, please click here for detailed snow removal safety information.
